Haute cuisine - developed according to the flair of some of the best chefs in the Emilia-Romagna territory - is the protagonist of A Taste of Christmas, the gourmet event that turns the halls of Palazzo Re Enzo into a large square full of flavours.

Three days to discover award-winning high-quality cuisine together with 17 prestigious chefs that alternate in a perfect flavourful relay to amaze you with their creations.

World of Taste - Christmas Edition is a 60-course tasting menu including a special dish inspired by the typical Christmas ingredients of different countries all over the world and interpreted by each chef according to their flair.

The historical wine merchants of the Trimani wine shop, with their wine list that includes around 50 types of wine, will guide guests to create the perfect food/wine pairing.

The Taste of Christmas experience is completed by cookery schools and workshops, where the best confectioners, bakers, pizza chefs and cake designers will reveal their secrets of the perfect dough to prepare sweet or savoury recipes to the public. Electrolux Chef’s Secrets cookery schools will also attend to provide suggestions, advice and techniques during a series of interactive demonstrations.

The younger visitors can visit the Children Area, equipped with thematic books and toys, but also ‘put their fingers in the pie’ thanks to workshops organised according to age group.

In the store set up in the Salone del Podestà, some of the products used by the chefs to prepare their dishes are available for sale as well as accessories and furnishings to make your festive table truly special and for the perfect gourmet gifts.
